St Mary's Church, Tickhill

My village church, quite impressive really. I was on my way to my Book Club today having failed to finish The Handmaid's Tale by Atwood. Not because I did not like it but the Man Booker Prize longlist has been esting into my time having read nearly four of them. Next week the shortlist is announced and I hope I have chosen well or it's back to square one.

Book Club forgave me my lack of completion and quite a few had abandoned it because they found it difficult or upsetting. I have saved the recent TV Series of the book so feel free now to get into that, others have raved about it.
