Never underestimate the power of the outdoors.

I was up at 5am for the swim run, then after depositing the littlest at nursery, to the dentist for some work. I don't do well with anaesthesia of anytime so needless to say I came away feeling a little poorly with a stinking headache.

I took some painkillers - reluctantly - they never really work for me but I feel obliged to try. The painkillers didn't shift the headache.

I had a couple of large mugs of tea. Sometime tea helps. Tea and rich tea biscuits to be honest. It didn't work today.

I spent an hour or so on the sofa under a blanket watching a film with my littlest. I may have dozed off for a bit. Sometimes a wee nap is all I need to take the edge of the headache. Not today.

And so I put my jacket back on, and went out into my garden in the rain and picked these beauties. Five minutes in the rain in the garden touching plants. My headache lifted immediately.

Every time.

Nature Works.
