The Eagle is landing!

Today was the preliminary kick-off of the Reno Great Balloon Races.  The hot air balloons are set up in a large park a little over a mile away.  And it is common for the winds to blow the balloons to the northwest - right over our house.  Several had passed by, and one almost hit our house.  This guy was cruising just barely over our pine trees looking for a place to land.  He finally landed a few streets away.  But Smokey the Bear landed in the parking lot across the street.  This is probably my favorite event in Reno.  More photos to come over the next few days, hopefully.
