Weather forecast was rubbish so we were not really looking forward to the day ahead.

However we have had a lovely day full of surprises!

Morning tea out with my cousin , his wife and grandson.

A visit from James and Fifi in the afternoon.

Two calls from Andrew who is on safari in S Africa. He also sent some of his amazing photos.

Phil also sent us a photo tonight which was just gorgeous.

So even on a miserable day we have been uplifted in many ways :) :)
