Cakes again

Today Philippa retired; it was exactly 30 years to the day since she started working for the university. In these days of transferable skills and employment mobility it's rare to find people who have stayed with one employer for so long but OU regional centres still have such staff. As Philippa said for many people it's "like coming home, like being with family".

There were cakes at coffee time and a buffet lunch with lots of laughs and many old friends came back to celebrate. A lovely day for a Thursday.
