Mini Meerkats

A visit today to a small private zoo, owned by a 23 year old man and managed by another passionate young guy. A wonderful environment for a small number of rescued animals and ones rehomed from other zoos . Part of a conservation/breeding programme,

I only found out about them this week. I was very impressed with what they are doing, even though I loathe the concept of zoos and seeing animals away from their natural environment. Sadly some people take on as pets animals that are totally unsuited to s domestic setting.
