This flower is part of the pattern edging a robe in a stained glass window at the local Catholic Church. This beautiful window of the Good Shepherd, is the work of the German artist Zettler.

 The window was originally in the chapel at the Catholic run Stoke Orphanage and when this institution closed in 1910, it became government property.                                                           Later, the window was acquired and incorporated in the new stone Church being built in Motueka in 1917 and years later when the present church was built this beautiful window was again moved and is now part of the side chapel.
