Wortley Post Office
... my destination this afternoon to pay cheques into my new Co-op bank account - not quite as straight forward as I'd expected but at least I now know how it works. I also wanted to talk to Tony about whether he thought buying a new graphics card for my old computer would be money well spent. Unfortunately he was away repairing bikes and not computers this afternoon. (Village economic life demands flexibility!)
These bikers were enjoying a cuppa outside the cafe when I passed and the young people had just been dropped off by the school bus.
Sheffield for us this morning, to sort out dad's affairs, then onto Waitrose for morning coffee (and one or two items like crumpets and white wine) followed by a chat with the two J's at the studio.
Finally a big thank you to everyone who helped celebrate my two years of blipping. Blipfoto has become such a special part of my life and enabled me to keep in touch with friends who have moved away and to make lots of new, if distant friends. I'm in the process of saying hello and thank you to everyone who left me a message yesterday though it may take me a little time.
