Telstar

Our patrol spent the day on "Telstar" duty - cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for ourselves out in the woods (the cook site is called Telstar). It's a duty that hasn't been on the rota for a number of years but has been brought back, and I'm glad it was! We had the most fantastic day. Kirsty here built and lit the fire, Lou lit a fire, we got creative with the washing up, there was a chopping bonanza from everyone - it was a lot of fun and a great challenge for everyone, particularly working together with everyone as a team. Really enjoyed it.

Today I also got to go swimming with Lou and Caroline (a rarity to get to go in, usually I'm lifeguarding!) and then we spent the night under the stars. Fantastic.
