Osteospermum 3D Strawberry

Well that's what the little label was telling me and below the name it also had the words "PICK ME", so I did :-). There's nothing like a little pot of colour and this one is staying inside. We're not even giving the wombat a fighting chance!! Thanks to Biker Bear for her incredible stamina in hosting the wonderful Flower Friday challenge.

We've had a busy day at Wombat Hollow with Michael our gardening Guru putting the finish touches on a couple of problem areas. My task was to deconstruct the elevated cactus garden and that meant taking a barrow load of river pebbles out of the tank. We did have a plan for them though and I've added an extra image to show you were they ended up. This area is just outside the kitchen area and behind the sleeper wall that wraps around the Billabong. It's been a neglected area FOREVER and it was time to address the Elephant in the Room. We only have one job left to do and that's to stain the sleepers the dusky grey to match our bush track. I have to say, it's been a very satisfying day :-)
