Six o'clock shadow

I noticed that these wooden, African birds on a shelf seemed to have doubled in number as the evening sun reached across the room at six o'clock today.
Russet went to the dog parlour and looks younger, smells lovely and has four immaculate paws!
And we went out to lunch and then played short mat bowls this afternoon!
Enjoyable and sunny day!
