Bracknell Phoenix

In 2012, the frankly sorry concrete heart of Bracknell Town centre was virtually flattened and 5years and £240 million pounds later was resurrected as a modern shopping and leisure centre. The official opening was yesterday, and today I went along to see what it was all about.

Unfortunately the weather was not the best for this largely open air development, and a number of smaller units are still waiting tenants, but it has promise and is a great improvement on the old shops...I will be back!
