" Ding Dong! "
"Well, Hello! Look at all those gorgeous gals"
"Ding Dong"
"Let's run down the hill and shag a few sheep"
"No, lets walk down the hill and shag a lot"
It's that time of year when the sheep are 'at it'. By applying coloured raddle crayon to the chest of the rams, it is easy to see which ewes have been 'covered' as the crayon rubs onto their rump. Every couple of weeks the colour of the raddle is changed, so the date of lambing can be accurately established for each ewe.
The heavy rain seems to have caused havoc with the raddle on these two rams, as they are red all over!!
