Somewhere....

Over the Rainbow.  After a spectacular day in the 70s, there was a brief shower and then this bit of a rainbow.  Once again today is opening day for the local County Agricultural Fair.  As we've done for the past 17 years, Debra and I judged the baked goods (extra).  There used to be so much more, but kind of thankful for less.  Tasting all those cookies, breads, brownies, etc gets old after the first 10 or so.  We pretty much give everyone a Blue Ribbon for the effort and always comments about what is good.  The last couple of years we've judged the King Arthur Flour entries which have a very specific recipe and lots to look for.  There is also a cash prize involved and we have to choose 1st, 2nd and 3rd place - a little more pressure, but all in good fun.
