Surprise!

A day at home with Amelia. She was very good today and had carrot and porridge for lunch. While she slept in the morning I tidied, swept and washed the floor. Then we went for a walk round the pool. It was hot and sunny. There has been a recalculation of the pool length. I think now that it is 25m, which means I've been doing 4.5 lengths a day more than I need. Means I'm in credit of over half a mile.

The rest of the family came home at 4. Olivoa didn't want to swim but did want her birthday Kinder eggs. Much 'chocolate' was consumed.

We went out to eat in 'Huckleberry' in Bukit Damansara. (aka Damansara Heights, #6 in 'Lonely Planet's' list of the 10 coolest city areas in the world. Peckham is #10.) Parking was a nightmare. An area that was more low rise but with big houses and a street of bars and restaurants, Medan Damansara. More normal feeling than Mont Kiara.

I was really tired so went to bed before 10 leaving G to deal with another screaming fit from Olivia.

Finished another book.
