Our day out...

Enjoyed a lovely trip to Bowness on Windermere.

Not a drop of rain today, probably helped by the fact I had borrowed a pair of waterproof trousers and packed a fleece and an umbrella too.

Now if I hadn't taken them...

I have not been to the Lake District for over 20 years and only a 2-hour train journey away. Today was just a taster as we have made plans to go again - soon.
