Saturday.......

.......what a day! Number 1 grandson played in his Grand Final footy game today. He was put at full forward even though he's played in the back line all season. Well, he kicked 4 of the 7 goals scored and......they won!! 
How wonderful is that! 
Then we continued up the hill to #2 son's home for delicious late lunch of smoked brisket and ribs........yum.  They live next to an orchard which is just beginning to burst forth in blossom. I think this is a plum. And a (Monarch?) butterfly. 
My extra is my friend, the chook. One of 6 girls up there. Chatty chick this one :)   bukbukbuk
