Stavanger, Norway

A flying visit to this beautiful Norwegian town.  We arrived in port at about 7:30 this morning, and we are scheduled to depart in about 4 minutes (1:30 p.m.)

We visited a fascinating Iron Age farm, where we learned how the people lived during those times.  Our guide, "the lady of the house", was dressed in appropriate costume (see extra).  We also walked through the very charming historic district of Stavanger, filled with adorable little white wooden cottages and cobblestone streets.  Many of these houses had stunning floral displays such as the one pictured here.
