Centuries collide!

This is Baldock, a very handsome little town which was once a major coaching stop on the road north from London.

This weekend they are holding a music festival and when I arrived at the dentist to have my "stitches" removed all the performance areas, food stalls and kiddy fun items were nearly ready.

I liked this bouncy castle (circa 2015) set up in front of the almshouses
(circa 1623). What would residents of the past make of it?
