Well you have to say things like that when your Man Pain is so bad that you can't lift a paint brush.  MrsDB took the job off me because she knows I'll moan and groan (probably shed a tear or two, too) and generally behave badly if it's left to me.

The old bit of our house was built around 1870's and when we refurb'ed we found this old fireplace behind a stoothing wall.  Good to see the original stone mason's chisel marks in the sandstone frame.
