Lay a little egg for me

To most people when I was young chickens were white egg laying machines in small crates in factories. Thankfully that's changing and now they are allowed souls again.

This is one of my neighbors chickens that lives pretty much where it wants, which is mostly in my garden. She is a pain and wont lay eggs where she is supposed to, gets broody far too often and sits on any egg available, and is a real character.

So its a big cheer for the Free range Chickens and Bah Humbug to anyone still buying eggs from battery hens !
