And we're off

Regular readers will know that around this time last year I pretty much stopped blipping. My better half was poorly (as hospitals like to say when some one is seriously ill) so our summer holiday to the western coast of France was put on hold while she got better (which she did very quickly) and we had a two nights on the Isle of Wight instead of two weeks in France.

Today after work we set off one year later than planned for our holiday by bike along the west coast of France. We left the village bang on time on a mostly empty train, which managed to take twice as long as it should to travel the 12 km to town for our first connection, so we missed our planned direction connection and had to settle for a change of train at Winchester. As a result of the shenanigans we were later than planned arriving at the port and were one of the last to board the ferry.

Today's blip and extras are in Portsmouth as we set sail for Brittany and our two weeks of cycling! There is a lot of digital noise, so don't look to close at the picture, but you get the idea!
