Orba Sleeps
The blipfoto shows the moon over Orba (Spain) at 7am this morning about half hour before sunrise. It's taken from the balcony of our villa that has splended views over the village and beyond.
The reason for being up so early was that we needed to take the son and his pregnant girlfriend to Alicante Airport, about 75 mins along the motorway toll road, for their flight home. However, their plane to Gatwick was commandeered by The British Government off Thomson to bring back British abroad in America due to the hurricanes. They've been put up in an hotel in Benidorm and it's not even sure they'll fly tomorrow! It's causing anxiety for all as her certificate to fly expires after today but Thomson have said they'll honour it.
We took a walk around Alicante City centre about 9am but it was almost dead as the shops don't open until 11am!
We've had so many nights out that we are having a night in watching tv and hoping they'll fly tomorrow.......the last thing we need is a Spanish grandchild!!!
