Selling The Stairs

The corridors around Dubrovnik are so steep, that many people hesitate to walk them with fear that the little stores may not actually be open.  Business hours are very 'flexible' in this community.  So, the shopkeepers sit on brightly colored pillows just outside their stores to encourage people to make the effort.
