Paleolithic Tool Making

Today was a rather different day as my class headed to Tentsmuir forest to get a lesson in early human tool making. We had to make tools using flint - which is rather tricky and painful on your hands. Then was the less fun part, in my opinion, where we had to use them on a deer carcass in order to prepare food for our tea. Some of the boys definitely got quite into it. Once the 'meat' was prepared we took it back to one of the lecturers houses where we had a feast. Quite the bonding session...
