"But Mom, I'm not Ready to Migrate Yet!"

I love the sort of wistful look in this young Osprey's eyes, or maybe that's just what I'm seeing.  This is not one of "my" Ospreys.  The female and her three fledglings have been gone for over a week now from the nest near my home.  Someone spotted the male still hanging around today and posted a photo on the webcam site.  But he should be on his way soon as well.  It will be interesting to see if any of the Granby Ospreys are still there when we head up to the lake next week.  I always miss them when they're gone for the winter.
