Best friends

Son C came home for the weekend and came feeding out with us this morning. Here he is on the quad bike, with Storm, who jumped up to C and slotted himself under C's arm. It's always great having another pair of hands to help us, especially at this time of the year when it is so busy. And it's great for him to get out of the city and enjoy being out on the farm.

It was cold milking this morning. When daylight arrived, there was snow low down on the hills surrounding the farm. It rained on and off during the day - we're hoping that this terrible weather is now behind us and we are able to have a few days of fine, warm weather.
