Notes: Swam laps, beautiful morning. Took coffee outside and talked to Italian Frank (Friendly Native), another beach guy (with IM hat who always walks with big headphones) and Mitch Long (Pa Kettle). After that, finally started getting worried. Text from Kathryn & Carolyn that they were driving out of the state and the house was empty. Finally decided after news that our area was looking much worse than thought, that I should evacuate. Started getting a bit anxious. Packed up and headed out, hard to leave . police at all intersections to stop anyone going near the water. Got into the house, food in and AC turned down. Decided shortly after to take my car to St A's and get it in parking garage. Walked the mile or so back, stopped at Old Northeast Tavern for a beer and slice of pizza. Back and more cleaning, laundry, preparing. Exhausted!
