Fixed it

I'm now on the third pair of curtains with new improved curtain tabs and fixings. I've got it to a fine art I think, and this iron, which hasn't been used in probably 8 years, apart from the occasional trip out to view a seam or some other small feature, works perfectly. If it were to be guaranteed by the number of hours of use it would still be under warranty!

It is, however, suffering the same plight as many of my other household essentials, small amounts of rust, intertmingled with household dust, oil or the adhesive from the origin stickers. Many years of this infrequent use hopefully remain. I wonder which of us will go first!
