Rain

It's rained a lot today and we returned to IKEA having decided the dining chairs in the flat were liable to bring on a lower back disorder. I then ventured into Bricoman - a French DIY chain - which was pretty disappointing.

An afternoon of putting furniture together. No sun today but still warm.

Just seen the awful news about the flash flooding in Livorno - at the mouth of the Arno. At one point our garden was a running river - luckily the patio between us and it has good drainage. But Florence does not seem to have been adversely affected.
