Godrevy Lighthouse

Godrevy Lighthouse moments before the next band of rain arrived.

A wet start but then just plain wild with bands of rain sweeping through in the afternoon allowing a yomp along the south west coast path up to Fishing Cove and back.  The contrasting light was excellent and we managed to miss most rain showers.  It was actually quite dry in the end - but very, very blustery!

The wet start did allow an excursion to the local Lidl though - definitely converts.  Good food and other stuffs at half the price or less; although there is a danger our waistlines may suffer from the pastries, and livers from the wine!

Forecast has improved, still likely Truro tomorrow but we can possibly round the day off with a short beach visit.
