The Lie

We've a walking group of 15 people with us this weekend, our first but others are beginning to book up for next year.

The B&B consortium is still repairing the damage caused by a comment made by a past chair several years ago to the effect that 'Oh no we don't want muddy boots in our B&B's'.  No-one will tell me who that chair was, or which B&B.  No matter, it's now very clear that the Dell House welcomes muddy boots.

Which is good, because it pelted down on the group today and there are coats and boots drying out in various quarters of the house.

And the evening sky is blue and fluffy and looking all innocent.
