Pancake

The sculptor of the sculpture at Eckington Manor seems to been a little thin on theistic detail when muddling the Greek god Pan with the Roman god Heracles and his Cornucopia; and fairly liberal with the interpretation of pan pipes too, but no matter, we're here to eat rather than admire the art.

We'd booked in for afternoon tea with restaurantophile friends M&J who are staying with us and working their way around most of the restaurants around Malvern this week, en route to Michelin Star hotel Ynyshir

We were rather thrown by having to pay for the meal in full on booking, so had gone with a bit of a negative first impression and being seated in an entrance hallway didn't help much, but the food was excellent; especially the cake.
