Great North Run

I did it, here I am at the finish, looking a vision in pink (what you can't see is my pink compression socks that set off the whole ensemble nicely).

I'm also in pain... I hit mile 8 and my calf & hamstring on my left leg tightened up, I made it to the finish line thanks to the awesome crowd cheering me on. They really are second to none on the Great North Run.

Still I managed to get a new personal best time coming in 32 minutes quicker than last time! It really should be 42 I think because I spent something like 20 minutes waiting for and having a comfort stop!

I think today might be a blip birthday... what a way to celebrate! A great day!!
