Heather the Heighlin Coo

“Oooo!...wot is it?” this toddler could not wait to get his hands on Heather the Heighlin Coo.
 
She was the centrepiece in this year Perthshire Open Studios annual exhibition at The Bield near Perth.
 
It is the work of three artists, Lynne Schroder, Mairi Campbell and Julie Carmichael.
 
They created it as part of Callander Summerfest, representing creativity in Callander as a way of promoting art as a catalyst in creating community.
 
   
Well, it certainly was the star attraction in this exhibition.
