Lake District Mountain Trial

Severe weather forecast meant that this was going to be even more of endurance and navigation that it already was. However, after a stream of competitors came in retiring before anyone had even finished, the organisers called it off at 12:30, with most people still out on the fell. After many days cycling my legs weren't fresh but I felt okay. I got really cold after 3 hours, but put on my waterproof trousers and after that it was all good. Shame to not be able to complete it, but there's always another time
