Big sky speeding by. I am trying the patience of my van comrades. Today I asked them to share one thing from their day, before they sank into their perpetual Iphone, Ipad contemplation and/or sleep. The most emblematic of the bureauacracy was a man who had been in the job for two months, reporting that he had managed to close a file open since 2004, that should have closed in 2005. Most emblematic of the trance we're in: a woman who noticed in her last meeting of the day that she had her shirt on backwards. I loved her for telling that!
