Hay! Quail

Today is our 38th anniversary. Hubby took off from work (sorta) to be with me today. While we were together, he was on the phone quite a bit. Who me? I'm not complaining. :-) Anyhoo, our 'plans' were changed throughout the day so we never made it to the coast like I wanted to. Another day for that. We did do a little shopping and had a nice dinner out. On our way to dinner (late) the sky was putting on a pretty pink show. See here for that pretty effect. Right out of the box, no editing. On our way home from shopping I spotted this quail on the hay bale and knew that would be my blip for today.
