White post box
All the talk since the Olympics has been about gold post boxes, but we've found a white one. This one is to commemorate the white clad monks who lived at the monastery in Blanchland, a quaint little village in Northumbria. The monastery is long gone but the church built on the same site was made with the stones of the older building. Well worth a visit.
