Suffragette tree carving, Alexandra Park
A report of our day, crowd-sourced with contributions from the Foxes, Mr hazelh, Katharine and Jack, and John...
We played Catan twice. Mr hazelh won in the morning, and Mr Fox in the afternoon.
We went to Alexandra Park to join the 'We stand together' celebration. We watched a short film about the history of the park, listened to live music, looked at the stalls, and talked to friends of the Foxes. Tania also entered the dog show and won first prize for the prettiest female.
This evening we popped into town for a lovely meal at Albert's Shed.
This blip is of the Suffragette tree carving in the park. The suffragettes met here to campaign, and also bombed the glasshouse in 1913.
Exercise today: none
