The Earl of Pembroke
Visiting Arklow at present, the Earl of Pembroke is a lovely three masted barque originally built in Pakavi, Sweden in 1945. She was subsequently registered in Denmark where she carried timber throughout the Baltic until she was laid up in 1974.
Now lovingly restored and renamed, she is 44 metres long and carries 885 square metres of sail (9500 square feet).
A welcome visitor to any port.
