On 9/11/2001?

Typhoon Hato had caused a lot of damage to trees and some small boats and one particular oil tanker that ran adrift into one of Discovery Bay's smaller bays. There is a shipwreck in this photo, although I don't know if you can spot it. And there is also an oil spill that is trying to be contained! Nearly 3 weeks after Hato!

Headed into town to the China Visa Office to apply for a visa for Martin. They needed to see his old passport and 'expired' APEC card which of course I hadn't taken with me. Honestly the visa officers there are soooo thorough ... ly annoying! They're really good at their jobs but boy do they know how to annoy the c...p out of you! Martin will have to go back, I'm done with them for a while!!!

Back to DB to meet up with some of my besties. We did share about what each of us were doing on 9/11 and each of us were in different countries but all as stunned as each other at what we were witnessing on TV. The day that changed the world forever.
