Preston Mill

This morning Mrs CBL and I continued our wanderings around North Berwick stopping only for refreshments at a lovely café. It is such a lovely seaside town.

In the afternoon we drove a few miles inland to visit Preston Mill which is one of the oldest meal mills in Scotland with its machinery still in working order.

It lies close to the River Tyne and consists of a kiln, a mill, and the miller's house. The mill's waterwheel dates back to 1909.

It was a fascinating place to visit and is set in a very attractive area for walking.
