A damp day in Stromness

The weather’s so bad we keep thinking it’s June - oh no I mustn’t.  Exceedingly wet and windy today, with a bunch of Liner passengers not happy, but drookit, in Albert Street, Kirkwall. 

They weren’t interested when I told them we’d had a very good summer.  They were all huddles together inside Sheila Fleet’s.  I feel the same every time I see CMC’s jewellery boxes.
