Life, not as we see it.

"I thought I'd washed under there!"

This beautiful statue is in the central square in Mahon.

Monday: Sought out the sun for the morning. Despite hotel notices to the contrary, sunbeds were festooned with towels during the breakfasting hour, and many sunbeds not taken up until a couple of hours later. I know what I will do if confronted with this later this week.

Walked along the rugged shore path to the next village, S'algar.  Not recommended in flipflops.  The walk, not the village.
Had lunch, sardinas y scampi washed down with a trio of Canas, then walked back to Alcaufar, had a wee siesta then ventured into the sea.  Our beach is a bit clayish so the water is far from clear, but a hundred metres along the shore there's a sort of wee harbour where you can get straight into the now much clearer sea.  Wonderful.
Extras:  Last night's clouds, last night's visitors getting pissed on the dregs of a Bells & coke, and a sea view from the afore mentioned rugged shore.
Soon be time for dinner.   Just waiting for the gong and the zimmer rush.
