TOWARDS THE PERGOLA:

I am in the middle garden, behind a bed of heathers & behind the house. The pergola wears a lapel of dwarf narcissi - N. Jet Star, which is one of my favourites - so reliable & flowering profusely every year. Behind the pergola is Magnolia Iolanthe just coming into flower. Also at the back, the blossom you can see is a plum tree - Black Doris, from which I make delicious plum sauce every year.
Peter cut the lawns yesterday - the first cut of the season. Good old Peter !
