Two Artists

I admire enormously, without qualification.

On the left is my youngest daughter. This is part of a very large self-portrait she did a few years ago as an A-level assignment, before she went on to graduate from art school.

The difference between her and photographers (and actually, she does photograph; usually with film) is that if she needs to do a portrait of herself, she doesn't use tripods, timers, or whatever else.

She would be quick to say, not better or worse, just different. OK, a father's pride then...
