Under the Stars, the Church of the Holy Innocents

A shot I've been waiting to capture for a long time; the Church of the Holy Innocents at Mt Peel, set under a starry night's sky, complete and lit from the inside.

On the early morning of 4 September 2010, the church was hit by the Canterbury Earthquake. 7 years later,  Sunday saw the church's rededication by the Bishop of Christchurch.
