These things are fast falling out of favour as mobiles and smartphones take over, but BT is,I believe, required to maintain at least some of them.


The K6 design boxes are now classed as Grade II listed structures so can not be removed. Where BT no longer want them as phone boxes, some have found new lease of life as community libraries, or even places to house defibrillators.
