Friday! Boss man was away in Tasmania all week and there weren't a thousand guest speakers in. With no interruptions the week was packed with work and extremely productive. I even managed to make progress for the first time in nearly a month.
Walking to dinner in the pouring rain made me rethink my theory on shoes. In England, you can't get away with massive holes in your soles due to the perpetual bad weather. In principle, the theory can be reversed and applied to Australia. In practice, new evidence means you need to modify your theory and buy new shoes.
At least the rain was warm.
